Thomas Jane Pleads No Contest to DUI Count
‘Punisher’ and ‘The Mist’ star Thomas Jane pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor DUI count on Tuesday. Patricia Arquette’s husband received a year of probation, $1,700 in fines and must undergo “alcohol abuse classes,” says the Associated Press. The judge dismissed two additional alcohol and drug charges and two speeding tickets. Jane, 39, was arrested this March after being pulled over for speeding on California’s I-5 highway. Hilary Swank Recovering From ‘Minor Medical Procedure’
Hilary Swank is recovering from a “minor medical procedure” she underwent at the hospital, her manager tells People magazine. The two-time Oscar winner was “experiencing some discomfort and went to see her doctor, who prescribed an immediate course of action that included a brief hospitalization to remove a small, benign growth,” Hilary’s manager Jason Weinberg tells the mag. “Her condition has been resolved and there are no continuing health issues, with the exception of some short-term rest and recuperation,” Weinberg adds.
