Ashton and Demi’s Emergency Landing
Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are sharing their scary afternoon with the world. According to tweets from their Twitter accounts, the private plane they were headed to New York on had an emergency landing in Las Vegas. Ashton tweeted of the incident, “My plane just had to do an emergency landing. Engine over heated. Fire trucks everywhere. Good times.” His wife Demi chimed in, “Yep, it is always an adventure in Vegas, emergency landing and all!” Ashton later tweeted, “Happy to be alive. Let’s celebrate. Party tonight at Turtle Bay Bar in NYC.” He even added that he’d splurge for half-off drinks for Twitter followers who mentioned a secret password at the door. A rep for McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas confirmed to “The Insider” that around 1 p.m., word came through that a private plane had asked to land at McCarran due to engine problems. He said the plane landed around 1:05 p.m. and took off about an hour later. The rep could not confirm who was aboard the plane.[Read full story on The Insider]
