TOUCHDOWN IN VANCOUVER
The girls arrived in Vancouver on Friday as the countdown to The Return Of The Spice Girls Tour continues. Talking onboard the flight, Geri told thespicegirls.com: "I’m not nervous, just really, really excited." Whilst Emma added: "I think it will hit me on Sunday. But I can’t wait to get on stage." Today the girls will see the arena for the first time as they perform a full dress rehearsal of the show.
AND THE WINNER IS
We are excited to announce that the winner of our Virgin Atlantic Spice Girls plane-naming competition is Diogo Yomane from Brazil, and the winning plane name is Spice One. Lucky Diogo met the girls this afternoon at LAX airport in Los Angeles, and joined them on the tarmac for the plane-naming ceremony. Keep reading thespicegirls.com for pictures from the event.
Mel B breaks world record in Spice City
Mel B led a world record attempt in Spice City Toronto yesterday for the most mobile phones ringing in unison. Hundreds of Spice Girls fans flocked to the Eaton Centre in Toronto to see Mel B and join in the Virgin Mobile event. Smashing the previous record set in 2001, when 254 people rang their mobile phones, yesterday 558 fans with phones in hand took part; all playing the Spice Girls debut hit Wannabe as their ringtone. read more
